Tell us your story

Whether you live with epilepsy or care for someone who does, what you’ve been through could help someone who’s just starting out. There’s no right way to tell it.

A few pointers

  • Write in your own words. Short or long, both are fine.
  • Talk about real life: the diagnosis, school or work, family, what helped you cope, what you wish you’d known.
  • You don’t need to mention Epilepsy Mate.
  • Please don’t give medication or dosage advice, and leave out other people’s full names.

What happens next

  1. We read every story.
  2. If we’d like to publish yours, we email you the edited version to approve first.
  3. Nothing goes live without your OK, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

Your first name is enough. Initials are fine too.

Only so we can talk to you about your story. It’s never published.

At least a few sentences.

Your story includes health information, so we only use it with your consent. Privacy Notice
