Real stories about life with epilepsy
People living with epilepsy and the people who care for them, in their own words. Everyone’s epilepsy is different, and each story is one person’s experience.
The first stories are on their way
We’re gathering stories from people living with epilepsy and from parents, partners and caregivers. Yours could be one of the first.
How we collect these stories
- Every story comes from a real person who chose to share it. We don’t write stories for anyone, and we don’t use actors.
- We may shorten a story, fix typos and translate it into our other languages. We never change what it means, and each person approves the final text before it goes live.
- If someone received anything from us for their story, like a free subscription, we say so on that story.
- These stories describe personal experiences. They aren’t medical advice, and they aren’t a promise of what will happen for you. Talk to your neurologist before changing any treatment.
- Anyone can ask us to take their story down at any time.
