By using Epilepsy Mate (the mobile apps, watch app, web app or this website), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Epilepsy Mate is

Epilepsy Mate is a personal diary and insight tool for people living with epilepsy and their caregivers. It helps you record seizures, medications and triggers and visualise that information.

Not medical advice

Epilepsy Mate is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Content in the app and on this website, including AI-generated insights, is for information only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health or medication.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the accuracy of what you log. You must be legally able to consent to these terms, or use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Subscriptions & trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial of the full service. Afterwards, continued use requires a subscription (monthly or annual), billed through the App Store, Google Play or our web payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store or account settings. Your data remains stored while your subscription is inactive.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unauthorised access, no abusive automated traffic, no use of the AI features to generate harmful content.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itixis is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
